Position Summary: We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Virtual Medical Office Assistant to support our virtual clinic operations. You will play a key role in ensuring a smooth, efficient, and positive experience for both patients and healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities: Schedule and manage virtual appointments through the Tia Health platform  Communicate with patients via phone, email, and secure messaging  Assist patients with joining virtual visits and troubleshooting minor technical issues  Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR)   Verify insurance information and assist with billing tasks  Coordinate referrals, prescriptions, and lab requests  Provide administrative support to physicians during virtual clinic hours  Ensure compliance with Canadian privacy regulations (e.g., PHIPA)  Qualifications: Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting  Knowledge of medical terminology  Familiarity with EMR systems and telehealth platforms  Strong communication and organizational skills  Ability to work independently in a remote environment  High level of attention to detail and confidentiality  Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a virtual clinic or telehealth environment   Experience with OSCAR EMR (preferred) Knowledge of Canadian healthcare systems and billing  Comfortable assisting patients with basic technical issues  Work Schedule: Full-time position Standard hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (PST`)   Flexibility available for the right candidate  Requirements: Must reside in Canada  Reliable high-speed internet  Quiet, private workspace  Strong computer and digital literacy  The salary for this position falls within a defined range and will be determined based on several factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and the needs of the organization.
