This position holds overall accountability for planning, organizing and controlling daily activities and ensuring the Service Departments efficiency and profitability. A strong commitment to customer satisfaction along with establishing positive relationships is necessary.  Principal Duties include: Provides the highest level of professionalism and quality in Automotive Parts and Service Demonstrates strong sales skills with the ability to build the business Ensures each customer experience exceeds Manufacturer customer satisfaction criteria  Coordinates staffing and workflow within department Assists with shop scheduling  Oversees administrative and management tasks including technician time concerns, warranty claims issues etc. Assists in month end closing activities Builds a winning team by recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, evaluating, motivating, and rewarding Service Department employees  Uses tools provided to ensure all employee activities are completed per established Company and Human Resource Policies and Procedures Evaluates employee performance, providing feedback, training, and career guidance as necessary Supports employees in overall development and training, ensures completion of programs and courses intended to assist in gaining additional skills and certifications  Establishes a positive working environment and encourages respectful relationships with employees and customers  We are proud to offer: Top Industry remuneration Benefit plan offering extended medical, dental, life and disability insurance Defined contribution pension plan Paid Vacation Ongoing training and growth opportunities; Staff discount on parts, service, and sales; The successful applicant must be highly motivated and have a proven track record of success. Previous service and/or experience managing an automotive service department is strongly recommended. A valid Class 5 drivers license, and intermediate computer skills are also necessary.
