Service Advisor

Service Advisor We are currently looking for a Service Advisor for our Oshawa dealership. Location: 787 Bloor St. W., Oshawa ON L1J 5Y6 Reporting to the Service Manager, this position is responsible for scheduling service repair work in a busy service department and following the progress of repairs throughout the day. Responsibilities: Answers telephone, coordinates incoming inquiries, and schedules appointments. Schedules shop work as efficiently as possible in accordance with dealership policy. Establishes and maintains good working relationships with customer and suppliers Opens, processes, and closes daily repair orders. Communicates carefully and completely with the next shift advisor by an agreed-upon method (i.e. email, notes, verbally) re: status of shop. Ensures an overall safe work environment for all personnel and works in compliance with OHSA standards. Highly motivated individual and ability to work in a fast paced work environment Previous experience in Heavy Truck or Automotive Industry is preferred/asset Excellent written and verbal communication skills Completion of Secondary School Diploma or equivalent Valid G Driver’s License.
