Reporting to the Security Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring workplace safety. What you will be responsible for: Monitoring entries and exits (visitors, employees, customers) Locking and unlocking doors Patrolling buildings and yard, on foot or by vehicle Protecting evidence in the event of a crime Securing incident scenes Responding in the event of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water leaks, hazardous materials Writing reports and logs Crime prevention Conducting searches in case of doubt Performing all other related duties To join our team: You must be able to work nights (schedule: 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., Friday–Saturday–Sunday, 36 hours/week) You hold a high school diploma You hold a valid security guard license issued by the Bureau de la Sécurité Privée You hold a valid first aid certification You hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license You are bilingual with ease of communication in French and English (written and spoken) You have a clean criminal record You have good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) You have the ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and rational manner You have excellent judgment, observation, and communication skills
