Safety Advisor

Kidco Construction Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable  Safety Advisor  to join our team. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional who thrives in a fast‑paced construction environment and is passionate about maintaining a strong culture of safety. Key Responsibilities Support and promote Kidco Construction Ltd.’s Health and Safety Program Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to field personnel Complete regular reporting, including daily reports and site inspections Provide project support on an as‑needed basis, including assistance with the safe execution of complex or unique work activities Respond to safety issues and incidents, including providing first aid and arranging transportation to medical facilities when required Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures, including documenting and addressing non‑compliance Conduct and participate in site orientations, pre‑job meetings, and hazard assessments Support the development, review, and implementation of Safety Plans, Emergency Response Plans, and related documentation Participate in worksite safety audits and incident investigations Assist with the inspection, certification, and maintenance of safety equipment (e.g., air monitors, harnesses, tripods) Provide additional safety support as required Qualifications 2 to 4 years of experience in a field safety role, preferably in the construction industry NCSO designation or other recognized safety certification considered an asset Experience using SiteDocs and a basic understanding of the COR process is considered an asset Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently and professionally at all levels Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality and discretion What We Offer Competitive compensation based on skill and experience Comprehensive benefits package, including dental, vision, extended health care, and an Employee Assistance Program RRSP matching program Company Vehicle Wage increases and annual bonuses for strong performance A strong commitment to workplace safety through our Safety Excellence Program At Kidco, it’s more than a job; it’s an opportunity.
