What You’ll Do Maintain clean, safe, and well-organized stables and grounds to company standards. Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment safely and efficiently. Operate heavy equipment such as graders, tractors, forklifts, and water trucks. Assist with track maintenance, including harrowing, watering, and general site preparation. Support team members and work under Racing Department management to keep operations smooth. Collaborate with contractors and suppliers for repairs, materials, and track resources. Respond to equipment breakdowns or emergencies and coordinate solutions. Perform general maintenance tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and mechanical work as needed. Follow all safety procedures, policies, and procedures. Take on other duties as assigned — no day is ever the same! What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent (combination of education and experience considered). 2+ years of experience operating heavy equipment (grader, forklift, tractor, water truck). Previous maintenance, construction, or labour experience. Knowledge of the racing or horse industry is an asset. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to work with limited supervision while collaborating effectively with the team. Valid driver’s license with a clear abstract. Ability to pass a criminal background check. Physical fitness to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying outdoor conditions. Nice to have: certifications in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, basic first aid, and fire prevention training.
