TouchBistro is a leading restaurant management platform powering thousands of restaurants. We’re hiring a QA Analyst, POS in Toronto, to own release confidence and regression protection across our platform. This role is critical to ensuring that changes from internal development, integrations, or device updates , don’t break the experience for our customers.
What You'll Do
- Own and maintain regression coverage across the POS platform
- Validate releases across app versions, OS versions, devices, and integrated hardware (printers, KDS, payment terminals)
- Perform exploratory testing focused on change-induced risk
- Execute release validation, including re-testing after hot fixes and cherry-picks
- Log clear, reproducible defects in Jira with full environment context
- Assess risk of incoming changes and define test coverage
- Drive release readiness and provide go/no-go recommendations
- Monitor post-release signals and flag potential regressions
- Review PRs and automation failures through a QA risk lens
What You Bring
- QA experience in a product environment
- Strong regression testing and release validation experience
- Experience testing iOS or mobile applications
- Ability to assess change risk and prioritize coverage accordingly
- Comfortable working in structured release cycles
- Proficiency with Jira
- Strong ownership mindset and attention to detail
- Experience with XCUITest or mobile automation
- Experience with hardware-integrated systems
