Position: Service and Production Technician       • Location : Pointe-Claire       • Schedule: 37.5 hours per week Responsibilities:  • Perform assemblies for hydraulic and pneumatic units.  • Assemble hydraulic and pneumatic panels.  • Perform in-house and external repairs, provide emergency services and on-site troubleshooting as needed.  • Diagnose problems related to hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, control, and electrical systems.  • Perform inspection services and preventive maintenance.  • Install and commission hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.  • Fabricate and install factory piping and hoses.  • Follow company processes and procedures for all service calls, repairs, and warranty requests, including proper documentation in our system.  • Provide technical assistance and product advice to customers.  • Inform customers about products and provide recommendations on system modifications. • Comply with all health and safety regulations/policies at Wainbee and customer facilities To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:  • 2 years or more of experience in the field of industrial mechanics and/or hydraulic/pneumatic systems  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office  • Demonstrated knowledge of hydraulic schematics is an asset  • Technical training and demonstrated knowledge of industrial products are an asset  • Must be able to carry, lift, push, and pull at least 50 lb on a regular basis  • Must be able to bend, crawl, walk on uneven surfaces, and work in awkward positions for extended periods  • Must be able to use hand tools and have their own tools for the workshop  • Must be able to travel to client sites up to 100% of the time, including, if applicable, travel between provinces  • Must hold a valid driver's license  • Travel to the client site. • Good communication skills and technical knowledge • Must undergo a background check and a driving record summary.
