Adaptable:  You thrive in a changing environment and are able to pivot direction easily. What You'll Be Doing As the Production Systems Manager, you will be the lead architect of building a Digital Twin manufacturing environment. You will bridge the gap between our physical production floor and our digital data (BigQuery, Fishbowl, ADP) to build live tools, automated schedules, and predictive models that drive 24/7 decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Production Modeling & Optimization:  Build a best-in-class planning engine to convert demand into optimized daily schedules using lean principles (flow, pull, Takt). Resource Management:  Model and balance labor, materials, and machines to maximize throughput and address bottlenecks. Real-Time Dashboards:  Develop live dashboards to monitor KPIs and track budget vs. plan vs. actual performance. Material Flow:  Use real-time data to identify waste, adjust for yield variances, and refine production plans. Advanced Analytics:  Build clean, reliable datasets and apply predictive models (scheduling, sequencing) to improve efficiency and automated decision recommendations. Forecasting:  Continuously improve forecasts using historical trends, promotions, and seasonality. What We Are Looking For We are seeking a technical leader who can bridge the gap between "floor reality" and "data logic". The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of high-volume manufacturing and has the analytical prowess to translate physical constraints into sophisticated digital models. Skills & Qualifications: Experience:  3+ years in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Operations Management, or a related technical field. Technical Stack:  Expert in  SQL & BigQuery  with the ability to join disparate data sources. Modeling Expertise:  Expert-level  Excel/Google Sheets  (VBA, AppScript, or complex formulas). Systems Knowledge:  Experience with ERPs, Time/Attendance software, and E-commerce APIs. Communication:  Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to speak the language of production operators. What You Can Expect Competitive salary that recognizes your skills and experience. An opportunity to work with the team at our vibrant East Vancouver HQ. Comprehensive health benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance after 90 days. Exclusive food perks to experience our amazing products. A culture that celebrates innovation and supports work-life balance. The opportunity to work for a certified B-Corp making a tangible difference. We’d love to have a chat and see if you  could be a great fit. At Fresh Prep, we work with a variety of ingredients, including common allergens like peanuts, tree nuts, and dairy. Whether you're in one of our corporate functions or within  the production facility, you may be exposed to these ingredients.
