Our PayFac-as-a-Service model gives you all the benefits of integrated payments while we handle the heavy lifting.    About the Role  As a Product Owner at ValPay, you will play a key role in defining, prioritizing, and delivering high-impact product initiatives across our payments ecosystem. You’ll work at the intersection of product, engineering, and business teams to ensure we are building scalable, reliable, and user-centric solutions.  This is a highly collaborative role where you’ll translate business needs into clear product requirements, drive execution, and ensure alignment across stakeholders.    What You’ll Do  Product Ownership & Strategy  Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring clear prioritization aligned with business goals  Define and communicate product vision, roadmap, and feature requirements  Translate complex business needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria  Execution & Delivery  Partner closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality product releases  Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives  Ensure timely delivery while maintaining a strong focus on quality and user experience  Stakeholder Collaboration  Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, operations, and leadership teams  Gather and synthesize feedback from internal and external stakeholders  Act as the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle  Payments & Platform Growth  Contribute to the evolution of ValPay’s embedded payments platform  Support integrations with third-party systems, APIs, and SaaS products  Ensure alignment with security, compliance (e.g., PCI), and performance standards  Continuous Improvement & Innovation  Identify opportunities to improve product functionality, usability, and scalability  Leverage data and insights to inform product decisions  Stay current with industry trends in payments, fintech, and SaaS    What You Bring  3–6+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role  Experience working in agile development environments  Strong ability to translate business needs into technical requirements  Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills  Experience working closely with engineering teams on software products  Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making    Nice-to-Have  Experience in payments, fintech, or embedded finance  Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and technical product environments  Understanding of compliance and security requirements (e.g., PCI)  Experience working in high-growth or SaaS environments
