Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development Lead, train, and inspire a team of Produce Associates and Specialists to maintain excellence in execution and service Set clear expectations and ensure completion of Lessonly training for all team members Create and maintain SOPs for day-to-day tasks and safety standards Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and customer-first thinking Model consistent attendance, punctuality, team collaboration, and reliability Customer Experience & Engagement Maintain an enthusiastic, customer-aware environment with a focus on fast, friendly service Engage customers with expert product recommendations, wellness insights, and tailored suggestions Promote new and seasonal produce with passion and knowledge Implement in-store demos, tastings, and educational interactions Product Management & Merchandising Oversee receiving, dating, and verification of produce shipments Maintain fresh, attractive displays that reflect seasonality and brand values Ensure accurate pricing and signage at all times Trim, prep, wrap, and present produce with precision and care Create compelling endcaps, focal points, and grab-and-go solutions Monitor shrink and manage spoilage to minimize waste while maintaining quality Operational Excellence & Strategy Plan seasonal transitions and anticipate department needs Continually assess and improve produce assortment Develop and implement promotional ideas to drive sales and customer interest Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization in the department and backroom Monitor and maintain equipment such as scales, pallet jacks, and wrappers Track KPIs related to quality, wastage, inventory flow, and team performance Promote and embed sustainability practices throughout the department Training & Compliance Completion of required Lessonly training modules Ongoing participation in workshops and brand education sessions to stay current on wellness trends and company initiatives Demonstrated commitment to attendance, punctuality, team collaboration, and reliability Other Duties Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
