We are currently looking for an who will report to the Planning Supervisor and will provide support to production primarily by ensuring that everything required to release documentation into production is available, preparing repair orders, and making changes to production orders when necessary. What we offer In addition to a job that matches your ambitions, with varied and enriching assignments, joining Velan means becoming part of a passionate team and enjoying exceptional working conditions: Competitive salary and bonuses Generous insurance program 24/7 telemedicine service 5% employer contribution to a pension plan Competitive vacation policy Paid time off during the holidays Reimbursement of professional association membership fees Contribution to tuition reimbursement Reimbursement of annual gym fees and other wellness initiatives Free on-site parking Company events (health, family, sports, etc.) Fast career progression and professional development opportunities Responsibilities Plan and execute, as part of a team with the configurators, the methods team, the quality team, and the schedulers, the launch of orders on the production floor Analyze shortages using the shortage report Follow up with other internal units and Purchasing to ensure that kits are complete at the right time for the job Analyze recommendations from the ERP planning system and implement them Analyze the plan, print and send work orders (tracking sheets) to the machining workshop in accordance with the schedule and production plan, while respecting kit assembly deadlines in the warehouse Implement minor engineering changes that impact execution, request support from configurators in complex cases, if necessary Review planning when purchase order specifications, project drawings, or quality control instructions (QCI) are revised Coordinate the verification of production roadmaps and prepare warehouse/assembly purchase orders in collaboration with the configuration and industrial engineering department; ensure, among other things, that all templates are available before releasing kits to the floor Follow up with factory personnel, subcontractors, purchasing, engineering, quality control, and quality assurance departments to ensure that all parties involved adhere to the schedule and that the products are delivered to customers on time Your profile DEC in manufacturing, operations management, or a related field Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in operation planning in the manufacturing sector Good knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (ERP) Knowledge of Infor LN (an asset) Ability to perform duties effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and meet deadlines independently Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Ability to define problems, gather information, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Ability to interpret a variety of technical and non-technical instructions and handle multiple concrete and abstracts variables at once Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within deadlines Experience managing a high volume of orders   If you recognize yourself in this profile and would like to take on this challenge, we would love to learn more about you!
