YMCA executes its day-to-day activities in reference to its defined values, “Be Inclusive”, “Think Customer”, “Own it!”, “Innovate Now!”, “Trust & Integrity”, “Be Agile”, and “Drive results”.   Position Information Department:  Parts and Accessories Location:  480 Gordon Baker Road Hybrid Status:  Contract - 1 Year Reports to:  Director, Supply Chain & Parts Distribution Summary of Responsibilities The Master Data Lead  is responsible for the design, governance, and operational leadership of material master data using SAP Master Data Governance (MDG). This role ensures high-quality, standardized, and compliant material data across the enterprise by defining governance models, approval workflows, data quality rules, and integration patterns. The lead partners closely with business and IT teams to establish MDG as the single source of truth for material master data within SAP S/4HANA and connected systems. Key Duties & Responsibilities Master Data Governance & Strategy Define, own and enforce material master data standards, naming conventions, and governance policies Act as the owner of material master data across all SAP modules Establish data quality metrics, controls, and audit processes Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements Define and monitor data quality KPIs Data Management & Operations Oversee creation, maintenance, and change management of material master records Design and maintain MDG change request types, workflows, roles, and approvals Review and approve material master requests to ensure accuracy and completeness Resolve data issues related to material types, units of measure, BOM relevance, valuation, and classifications Drive root-cause analysis and continuous improvement of material data quality Stakeholder Collaboration Partner with business data owners from supply chain, finance and sales teams Work hand in hand with the warehouse with respect to data-driven reports and analytics Serve as the primary point of contact for material master data questions and issues Translate business requirements into SAP data structures and processes Continuous Improvement & Training Identify opportunities to improve data processes and automation Develop and maintain documentation, SOPs, and data dictionaries Train business users and associates on material master best practices Other duties and tasks as assigned Experience Requirements Degree/Diploma:  Bachelor’s degree Program of Study:  Computer science, business, engineering, or a related field. Years of Experience: 3+ years  Skills and Abilities Knowledge of SAP S4/Hana PTP or other modules Nice to have Extended Warehouse Management experience Very proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerBI, SAC Travel Requirements National (within Canada): Occasionally (10-30%) International: Occasionally (10-30%) Overtime Requirements Some overtime may be required for month and year end processes. Salary Range: $75,000 - $80,000 per annum Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
