By implementing industry’s best practices, Lighthouse Software Group delivers a time-sensitive integration process, and the operation of a decentralized model has allowed it to become a hub for creating rapid growth by reinvesting in its portfolio.   The Opportunity We are looking for a Manager, People Operation s to run the full spectrum of human resources for the Lighthouse portfolio. You will report directly to the Managing Partner of the group and sit at the leadership table from day one. This is a build role, not a maintain role. You'll be leading and owning the HR function for a growing portfolio of businesses with the autonomy to both strategize and execute. What You Will Own M&A Integration Lead people integration for new Lighthouse acquisitions, from pre-close diligence through to integration Partner with corporate on legal entity setup, employment transitions, and cultural integration Talent & Performance Lead recruiting for critical leadership hires across the group Implement a lightweight, effective performance management framework Build a talent review process to identify high-potentials and succession risks Establish an employee engagement survey cadence and act on results AI & Workforce Planning Partner with portfolio company leaders on workforce planning as AI adoption changes role mix People Leadership Be a credible thought partner to portfolio company CEOs on org design, team health, and people strategy Build a team of HRBPs and recruiters as the group scales over time People Infrastructure Own the HRIS, ATS and other platforms Design and maintain compensation bands across the group using market benchmarking data, in-house Manage compliance across North American and other markets where Lighthouse operates What We Are Looking For 5+ years of HR experience Comfort being the leading HR professional in the group, collaborating with business leaders Experience at a high-growth, dynamic organization Hands-on with HRIS systems (BambooHR a plus) Working knowledge of US and Canadian employment law The Person, Not Just the Resume Ambitious: is energized by the scope this role offers and the opportunity for real ownership Commercial instincts: thinks about HR decisions in terms of business outcomes Honest about what they do not know and moves fast to close gaps Does not need to be the most senior person in the room to be effective #PortfolioLighthouse
