LOT ATTENDANT

About the Role: The Lot Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the vehicle lot by managing the movement, organization, and maintenance of vehicles. This position requires attentiveness to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service, as the attendant often serves as a first point of contact for customers and team members. The Lot Attendant is responsible for safely operating a variety of vehicles, including light trucks and cars, to facilitate vehicle delivery, pickup, and lot organization. Maintaining a professional appearance and adhering to company policies and safety standards are essential to uphold the dealership’s reputation. Ultimately, the role supports overall dealership operations by ensuring vehicles are properly positioned, accessible, and presented in a clean and orderly manner. Washing vehicles that are on the lot will be a large focus in this role. Minimum Qualifications: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions accurately. Proficiency in speaking and understanding English. Experience operating light trucks and a variety of cars safely. Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in an auto dealership or similar automotive environment. Familiarity with auto body maintenance and basic vehicle care. Experience using timekeeping and vehicle tracking systems. Strong customer service background. Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor consistently. Responsibilities: Operate a wide variety of vehicles, including light trucks and cars, to move vehicles within the lot and to designated areas. Receive, inspect, and organize incoming and outgoing vehicles to ensure proper placement and accessibility. Provide exemplary customer service by assisting customers and team members with vehicle-related inquiries and requests. Utilize the timekeeping system accurately to log work hours and vehicle movements. Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times. Collaborate effectively with team members to support daily lot operations and address any issues promptly. Assist with basic auto body tasks and vehicle cleaning as needed to maintain lot presentation.
