Laundry Attendant (Seasonal)

We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, as our new Laundry Attendant. As a Laundry Attendant, your care and attention to detail in daily operations will help maintain the high standards of our hotel linens, contributing directly to a clean, comfortable, and memorable guest experience.  What you will be doing:     Reporting to the Laundry Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:    Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service   Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards   Carry out various functions within the Laundry department  Sort and categorize soiled linen  Feed linen and laundry into folding machine  Receive linen coming out of laundry machine, sort and separate  Feed, receive and record all linen items  Report necessary maintenance items  Ensure the completion of task checklist by the end of each shift  Accurately record production data by specific items to track efficiency and inventory  Ensure laundry machines are thoroughly cleaned and maintained at the end of each shift  Must be flexible in regards to work schedules (weekends and holidays as required)  Following all safety and sanitation policies  Adhere to all LQA standards set for the department  Consistently uphold a professional and well-groomed appearance in accordance with the company’s established grooming policy  Adhere to the hotel’s vehicle handling and safety policies while driving hotel and guest vehicles  Embrace the Fairmont brand promise and luxury in your role and in all your interactions   Other duties as assigned Your experience and skills include:   Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry an asset   Valid Alberta driver’s license an asset  Excellent communication and organizational skills  Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities  Highly responsible & reliable  Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment  Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision  Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times Job Perks & Benefits:  Join our team and enjoy a range of exclusive colleague perks, including complimentary upgrades, extended stays, discounted stays across Fairmont & Raffles properties, special dining and wellness discounts, and added luxuries to enhance your experience.
