As a key member of the Stampede Toyota team and reporting to the Service Manager, the Journeyperson Technician will work with the service department, representing a world-class leader in the automotive industry .   We are seeking our next great team member to join our team   as a Journeyperson Technician. The individual must be organized, team-oriented and excel in a fast-paced environment. Our team is ready to help you start your new career at Stampede in Calgary. Summary: Reporting to the Service Manager, the Journeyperson is a team player and excellent communicator with expertise in wheel alignment to join our service team. The Journeyperson may also performs preventative maintenance, and minor repairs to vehicles.  As a member of our team, the Journeyperson is a problem solver that is passionate about vehicles and technology and always has a desire to learn more. Specializing in wheel alignments using Hunter equipment. With test drives before and after. Inspect, adjust, and replace steering and suspension parts. Rebuild and service major components like transmissions, engines, and electronics. Review work orders and use manufacturer specs and manuals for diagnostics. Complete scheduled maintenance: oil changes, tune-ups, lubes, tire rotations, and brake checks. Run diagnostics and follow manufacturer repair procedures. Record work done, vehicle condition, and future repair needs. Communicate with customers and service advisors as needed. Handle and move customer vehicles with care, keeping them clean. Maintain alignment and shop equipment. Stay in sync with teammates across the shop. Stay calm under pressure and work efficiently. Take on other tasks as assigned by management.   Continuous Learning & Improvement: We are committed to our employee’s continuous learning and development and as such, training is provided through orientation, appointment coordinator training program, self-assessments and coaching sessions and demonstrations with managers.
