Journeyman Parts Technician We are seeking a detail-oriented Journeyman Parts Technician to join our busy maintenance team. The successful candidate must be able to work a variety of shifts to meet our service needs. Key Responsibilities Order, track, dispense, and manage parts inventories for various machines and equipment, including heavy equipment, on-road trucking, skid steers, truck fleet, signage, and safety items. Handle incoming parts inquiries from internal (shop) and external (field) heavy-duty mechanics via phone, email, or in person. Maintain accurate records and detailed orders regarding parts requirements. Coordinate deliveries with parts drivers. Suggest suitable substitutes or alternatives when timelines, pricing, or availability are barriers. Perform general housekeeping of the parts department, including stocking parts. Pick parts orders for PM work orders. Conduct inventory counts as required. Dispatch delivery drivers to pick up and deliver parts as needed.
