Ferrous Receiving Labourer

AIM  is currently seeking a  Ferrous Receiving Laborer  for its  Victoriaville  site. The position offers a schedule from  Tuesday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.,  as well as  Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Reporting to the Site Director, the  Ferrous Receiver Laborer  actively participates in the receiving, sorting, and shipping of ferrous metals. What you will be responsible for: Welcoming customers courteously and applying established procedures Unloading, sorting, and inspecting ferrous metals received on site Identifying different types of metals and assessing their quality Operating industrial machinery and tools (loader, forklift, torch, etc.) Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards at all times Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the worksite Performing any other related tasks to support operations To join our team : Experience operating a forklift (an asset); Experience in metal recycling and knowledge of different types of metals (assets); Ability to work in a dusty, industrial environment; Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions; Excellent physical condition and ability to perform manual labor; Strong commitment to working safely at all times; Responsible, resourceful, punctual, reliable, and able to work well as part of a team.
