CORE LOGGING CLERK Temporary short term position Position to fill 4 Code EXP26-06 The place of work is in Nunavik deadline to apply May 27th, 2026 The work lcation is in Nunavik and the normal work schedule is 11 hours per day on a rotaiton of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 paid weeks for rest. Responsibilities Reporting to the project geologist, the core library clerk is responsible for the organization and integrity of drill cores. They ensure the proper classification and traceability of geological material. Their main responsibilities are as follows: Ensure the classification, storage, and traceability of core samples in accordance with applicable standards and procedures. Enter, update, and validate data (depths, intervals, drill hole numbers, etc.) in the tracking system. Verify the integrity of the core samples (continuity, losses, box condition) and report any anomalies. Track material movements (receipt, transfer, shipment, and archiving). Strictly adhere to health and safety standards related to the handling and storage of geological material. Perform any other related tasks to support exploration activities. Qualifications Hold a high school diploma (or equivalent) Be able to understand, apply, and strictly adhere to work procedures Demonstrate rigor, organization, and meticulous attention to detail in the handling of drill cores Be able to handle core boxes and lift loads of up to approximately 25 kg Be able to stand for extended periods outdoors Demonstrate an interest in the mining industry; basic knowledge of geology is an asset Possess strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams (geologists, technicians) Assets Proficient in MS Office suite; Manual dexterity; Bilingualism (functional French and English); Experience in an industrial or mining environment.
