Westcan is currently seeking a  Professional Class 1 Driver to join our team in Grande Prairie , with a focus on Hopper, Frac sand What you bring: Minimum 2 years of commercial highway driving experience Super B, tanker and off-road experience are a strong asset chaining experience required Willingness to stay in the truck for duration of your rotation on site drug and alcohol screen, job abilities assessment, and company paid criminal check If you reside in Grande Prairie, Peace River or surrounding areas Work Schedule : 5 days on, 2 days off, slip seat required. Rate of Pay New Hire Hopper Board Assignment Total Base Rate $31.00 Premium $1.90 Good Operations Bonus – based on a 55 hour week $0.99 Attendance Bonus - based on 55 hours per week, the hourly equivalent earnings for a full attendance bonus at 5.77% $1.96 Total pay for regular hours $35.85 Plus $2.35 for hours between 10 PM – 5 AM local time and on weekends Chain up Premium – Flat Rate $50.00 paid to driver when chain up required to leave Peace River Mine Site only. Winter Months mandatory chain up in place. Rotational positions (for out of area candidates) available Rotation  6 weeks on 2 weeks off Work Schedule:  70/36 hours, staying in the truck with resets on the road ($300 reset pay) Total Compensation: Bonus opportunity Paid ($29.45/hour) on-the-job training will be provided to all employees OT after 55 hours a week Immediate Benefits for you and your family – no waiting 90-days!
