You’ll execute and contribute to a refined pastry program—from delicate plated desserts to production baking—while upholding the highest culinary standards. You’ll work closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to evolve offerings, maintain quality, and ensure every dessert leaving the kitchen is both visually stunning and technically flawless. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare, bake, and finish a variety of pastries, desserts, and specialty items with accuracy and consistency Execute recipes with precision, including scaling, mixing, proofing, baking, and finishing Develop and maintain mise en place for all pastry station components, ensuring readiness for service Plate and present desserts with attention to detail, consistency, and visual appeal Collaborate with leadership on seasonal menu development and creative pastry features Monitor product quality, freshness, and proper storage of all pastry ingredients and finished goods Manage inventory for pastry ingredients, including ordering, tracking, and minimizing waste Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workstation in accordance with health and safety standards Ensure proper handling of specialized pastry equipment (mixers, sheeters, ovens, tempering tools, etc.) Stay current on menu updates and communicate changes effectively with the team Uphold a professional, calm, and focused demeanor during high-volume service Support a positive kitchen culture and act as a role model within the team Follow all food safety, sanitation, and operational standards WHAT YOU BRING A genuine passion for pastry, baking, and dessert innovation Strong technical skills in baking, pastry production, and dessert plating Attention to detail and commitment to consistency Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills A desire to learn, grow, and contribute creatively We look forward to hearing from you!
