Butcher - Stock T.C

Location: Stock T.C  Position: Butcher Stock T.C is Terroni and Cumbrae’s joint venture located at Yonge & Montgomery, which includes a 1st-floor market space where people can grab n’ go breakfast, lunch or pick up sandwiches, fresh fruit, veggies or whole meals and groceries, and 2nd-floor bar with a custom cocktail program and full-service seating.  We are seeking full-time Butcher to join our team. Hourly Wage:  $22 to $24 an hour Responsibilities and Requirements: Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a butcher or equivalent meat cutting and handling Cut, trim and prepare consumer-sized portions of meat for sale Prepare and attractively display meat cuts and products in display counter Prepare standard cuts of meat, poultry, and fish Wrap prepared cuts as directed Safe use powerful machines to grind and slice meats Knowledge of safe use of meat grinders, slicers, and other butchers equipment Basic safe knife handling skills Work with management to determine amount and types of meat cuts to prepare Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety and sanitation policies Able to work independently and as a team Food Handlers Certified or willing to obtain Apply: Please reply with your interest, resume, or cover note detailing your experience, and be sure to enclose a contact number.
