About this role

The Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of a client's paid search and social initiatives. This includes developing strategy and managing the execution of search and social marketing campaigns based on the client's business objectives. Primary Responsibilities Define and manage search, social, and display marketing campaigns for Fortune 1000 clients  Create, manage and execute strategic search and social marketing plans that meet client goals  Define a campaign strategy and deliverables plan that exceeds client expectations  Create, present and gain client approval on insertion orders, campaign strategies and tactics  Oversee and deliver on Account Management business processes  Maintain positive client relationships, expectations and communications  Forecast, generate and maximize revenue opportunities with clients  Monitor, track, evaluate and optimize campaign performance to maximize client investment  Scope and develop new business with companies looking to meet their marketing goals using search marketing  Cross-functional campaign development with internal SEO teams as well as sister media agencies  Secondary Responsibilities Build on an existing level of paid search and social expertise, and develop a reputation for innovation and efficiency  Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in digital marketing as well as consumer behavior to recommend improvements to accounts  Aid in creation of new business presentations, POVs, best practices and key process documentation Minimum of two (2) years of paid search or paid social experience  Bachelor’s degree or relevant college certificate  Major account/client management skills and complex paid search/digital/social campaigns; multi-level sales/selling into accounts  High level of attention to detail and the ability to handle and prioritize multiple accounts  Ability to interact in a professional manner and deal with clients face-to-face  Experience using search advertising platforms (Google AdWords, Bing Ads)  Experience using social biddable platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube)  Experience with analytical tools (Google Analytics, Web Trends, Omniture)  Experience with Bid Management tools (DoubleClick, Marin & Searchlight)  Experience with biddable social API’s (SHIFT, Kenshoo, Marin, Unified, Sprout Social)  High level of technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint  Technical and analytical mindset  Google Certification is an asset  French language skills are an asset Catalyst encourages applications from all qualified candidates and has an exceptional record of accommodating persons with disabilities.
