We are currently hiring for the position of: ACCOUNT MANAGER, MARKET PARTNERSHIPS The Account Manager, Market Partnerships, drives and manages corporate partnership revenue for TIFF: The Market. Responsible for account ownership, deal execution, and partner stewardship, this role advances the Market’s financial and strategic goals. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Market Partnerships & Philanthropy, the Account Manager collaborates with the Corporate Partnerships Sales team and internal stakeholders—including Programming, Marketing, and Operations—to integrate partnerships into the Market experience and deliver measurable value. This hands-on role suits a commercially minded relationship builder who can manage multiple accounts, conduct research, and contribute to revenue strategy in a fast-paced environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: Shall include but not be limited to:  Revenue Generation & Account Management Prospect, develop, and manage an ongoing pipeline of sponsorship revenue, contributing to Market partnership revenue targets (~$1.5M) Develop and execute strategic account plans for new partners, ensuring measurable outcomes and alignment with Market revenue objectives Execute effective prospect management, including setting account objectives and negotiating contract terms with new sponsors Support the Senior Manager in negotiations and proposals for major strategic partnerships Collaboration & Strategic Partnerships Collaborate closely with TIFF’s Corporate Partnerships team on large deals, joint opportunities, and upsells with existing partners Contribute to a high-performance, collaborative culture across Market teams, fostering coordinated execution between direct sales, corporate partnerships, and philanthropic initiatives Integration & Experience Management Integrate corporate opportunities into the Market experience, working with programming, marketing, and operations teams Business Development & Communications Draft a high volume of best-in-class partnership proposal decks and case studies, demonstrating expertise in sponsorship storytelling and value articulation Represent TIFF: The Market at key industry events to strengthen relationships and support partner satisfaction Reporting & Analysis Provide regular reporting to the Senior Manager and Market leadership, highlighting trends, opportunities, risks, and upsell potential Other duties as assigned JOB GRADE & SALARY: Job Grade 3 $34/hr TARGET  CONTRACT DATES: Target start date: May 2026 Target end date: September 30th, 2026 WORK LOCATION: Office Location: 350 King Street West, Toronto, ON M5V 3X5 Weekly in-office requirements:  Minimum 2 days (November to April) Minimum 3 days (May to October)  Festival Office Requirements: Full Time during Festival MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Undergraduate degree from a college or University 2-5 years of experience in exhibition sales, partnerships, business development, or revenue leadership within media, entertainment, events, or technology sectors. Proven success in selling large-scale exhibition or sponsorship packages. Demonstrated ability to manage complex commercial negotiations. Strong commercial judgment, communication skills, and cultural fluency. Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments. Strong network across film boards and national agencies, film sales companies, studios, distributors, service providers, and industry platforms. Experience working with innovation, XR, immersive, or technology clients is an asset.
