Academy of Building Technology -Program Coordinator OVERVIEW The Academy of Building Technology (ABT) is an innovative training program that combines targeted education with real-world work experience in the construction and building technology industry. Through a model similar to an apprenticeship program, students “learn while they earn,” gaining hands-on skills, industry knowledge, and mentorship while working. ABT focuses on practical, career-driven training that prepares students for in-demand roles and long-term success in the construction sector. The Program Coordinator at the Academy of Building Technology (ABT) is responsible for the development, review, coordination, and delivery of hands-on training programs that support ABT’s “learn while you earn” model in the construction and building technology industry. This role plays a key part in designing curriculum, planning workshops, and facilitating in-house training to ensure programming is practical, industry-driven, and aligned with workforce needs while providing the support and guidance to the students. THE DAY TO DAY Develop and build a syllabus for ABT programs  Review existing external syllabi to identify the relevant content Check in on student progress  Coordinate meetings with departments Create/adjust current program courses and curriculums  Coordinate workshops, in-house training, rotations  Create processes to track training, rotations, progress, etc.  Identify or support the research of what is required to make ABT an accredited program WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Highly organized and proactive with strong attention to detail  Knowledgeable in construction processes, project workflows and industry best practices Strong communication and leadership skills Acts as a key connector between students and mentors  Committed to delivering a high-quality, career- focused training experience  Focused on preparing students for a successful career within the construction industry Can connect and build professional relationships with students  HOW TO APPLY Qualified applicants can submit a resume  Stubbe's is committed to providing accommodations to those individuals with disabilities throughout the recruitment process.
