We’re looking for a 310T Licensed Truck and Coach Technician to perform routine maintenance, complex repairs on semi-trucks, trailer alignments, diagnostics, electrical work, install bushings, kingpin shocks, and more. This full-time, permanent role is based in our Ottawa, ON store. We offer a clear path for career advancement with wage increases along the way  Extended group health, dental, and vision benefits are available to all eligible full-time and part-time permanent employees  Participate in an RRSP (Registered Retirement Savings Plan) program with matching Profit Sharing (DPSP (Deferred Profit-Sharing Plan)  Employee discounts on tires, services, and additional perks   Responsibilities  Perform a wide range of general mechanical services, including brake and suspension repairs, engine diagnostics, and routine maintenance.  Mentor and coach apprentices by sharing your expertise and supporting their skill development in a learning-focused environment.  Collaborate with a skilled team while working on various vehicles, from standard passenger cars to light trucks.  Identify potential mechanical service opportunities in partnership with the Sales team.  Maintain the highest standards of safety and quality in all tasks.  Qualifications  Fully licensed as a 310T Heavy Duty Technician (Journeyperson/Journeyman or Red Seal certified) A valid driver’s license  Brings a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with front-end brakes, shocks, and wheel alignments  Experienced in performing inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles  Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving  Kal Tire uses AI tools to support parts of recruitment, including but not limited to job posting and pre-screening.
