The CNE, often affectionately referred to as The Ex, is Canada’s largest community event and one of the top ten agricultural fairs in North America, attracting approximately 1.6 million visitors annually over the course of its 18-day run. With something for everyone, the CNE offers a wide range of attractions and interactive entertainment experiences including: concerts, midway rides and games, shopping, exhibits, tech and gaming hubs, food and wacky treats! Manually record and report vendor sales activities as they occur for selected vendors
Observe gate and parking lots and report on deviations from accepted practices
Examine consumed tickets to ensure legitimacy
Perform and evaluate field data collection responsibility on a daily basis
Able to work with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
Advanced skills on Microsoft Office with particular attention to Excel as an asset
Minimum Age Requirement: 17
Available to work all 18 days of the fair (August 21st to September 7th, 2026)
Able to attend Mandatory HR and Job Specific Orientation Session in Early August
Available to work flexible hours, evenings and weekends
Grade 12 student attending University or College in the Fall or currently in University or College
Ability to stand or be stationary for long periods of time
Ability to work both indoors and outdoors for extended periods and in all weather conditions (sun, heat, wind, cold, rain)
Located in a busy area; constant interruptions
Required to dress in appropriate uniform
